Ben Mazzara has 15 years of administrative experience in senior living communities in Texas. His career spans 25 years in the health care industry. A native of Southeast Texas, Ben loves people, especially seniors. A licensed administrator, he views his job as a ministry. He is known to take a challenge and get things done by making decisions that enhance the quality of life for our residents. "It's not a job, it's a ministry," he always says.
Wanda Harrington is the Director of Nursing at Calder Woods, a position she has held the past eight years. She has 30 years nursing experience with 18 years as a Director of Nursing, always serving seniors in a Skilled Nursing environment. She chose this field of specialty because of her love and compassion for seniors. She is known for her personable relationship with Calder residents and their families.
Art Belle-Isle has more than 40 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Texas, most of which has been in management. Before coming to Calder Woods in 2012, he was the administrator and CEO of Hospice of Texas in Beaumont. Art has a passion for serving the generation that has made our country great. "The generation we serve at Calder Woods is the generation with the honesty, integrity, work ethic, and the love of the Lord that seems to be somewhat lacking in our country today." This generation deserves the respect and dignity due them and he makes sure they receive the best Calder Woods has to offer. 
David Long has 15 years of experience in the senior marketing industry, the last seven years at Calder Woods. His personable, easy-going style helps potential residents and their families feel comfortable when approaching him about all the options available in senior living. He's always available to help new residents make an easy transition from their homes to their new lifestyle at Calder Woods. Calder Woods residents say he treats them like they were his own mom and dad.
Peggy Long is a valued, long-term employee at Calder Woods, marking her 11th anniversary in 2012. She has headed up our Human Resources department the past four years. Her desire to serve and her genuine love for senior adults allow her to interact with residents in a caring manner, which creates a warm sense of family. She is known for her dedication to Buckner and the service that Calder Woods provides for seniors.
